Candle Care
Before lighting your candle place the jar/ vessel on a heat resistant mat to prevent any damage to the surface the candle is sitting on.
Light your candle in a well ventilated room away from drafts or fans.
First burn 3-4 hours to avoid tunnelling. Tunnelling is a build up of wax on the side of the candle jar/ vessel.
Don not burn for more than 4 hours.
Burning for long periods can make the wick move or slant. If you see a FLAMING wick come close to the jar/ vessel edge, extinguish the flame with a snuffler and straighten the wick to prevent the jar/ vessel from cracking.
Make sure you stop burning your candles when 10mm of wax remains at the bottom.
Keep the wax pool clear of wick trimmings and matches as debris in the wax can act as a secondary wick, encouraging your candle to burn faster.
Long or crooked wicks can create high flames, smoking or sooting. Trimming the wick to 1/4 inch is the easiest way to prevent
Always extinguish candles with a snuffler this prevents wax and soot being blown around.
Do not touch the hot wax .
Do not eat the wax .
If an allergic reaction to the wax occurs seek medical advice / attention.
How to store your candles
When your candle is not in use, store in a cool dry place and cover the candle with a candle lid to protect the wax from dust which can affect the scent throw of your candle .
Storing candles for to long can affect the scent throw. To make the most of your beautiful Little Lilidhs candle use with in a reasonable time.
Reed diffuser care
Place your Reed diffuser on a mat or coaster to protect the surface it is sitting on. You must be very careful if any of the diffuser oil is spilt it must be wiped up immediately to minimise the damage to surfaces. Take special care that the reeds do not touch painted surfaces or other materials such as wall paper, curtains, polished or synthetic surfaces or fabrics, as this may cause staining
The room temperature is very important as higher temperatures will speed up diffusion. The life of the diffuser will then be shortened. keep out of direct sun light and avoid placing next to radiators.
when the scent gets weak you can flip your reeds. you MUST wear gloves to avoid contact with your skin. Some mixtures may cause an allergic skin reaction. In the event of skin or eye contact, rinse thoroughly with water. If skin irritation occurs seek medical advice/ attention.
Flipping your reeds frequently will use more oil.
Keep well out of reach of children and pets.
Do not ingest the liquid, this is toxic.
Do not light the reeds and keep away from open flames. Reed diffusers may be flammable.

Car fresheners
How to use / care for .
unscrew the top and carefully remove the plastic bung and then screw the wooden top back on as tight as it will go.
Gently tip the freshener up to allow a-little oil to soak onto the wooden top and tip back down. This should be as quick as 1 to 2 seconds.
once scent has faded repeat step one.
Always check the wooden top is very tight. If the wooden top is loose and there is a lot of movement making the freshener swing back and fourth this will made the wooden top even looser. ALWAYS make sure the wooden top is very tight.
If any oil has spilt wipe it up immediately to minimise damage to the interior.
Keep well out of reach of children and pets.
Do not ingest the liquid, this is toxic.
If the freshener oil make contact with you skin, rinse immediately. Some mixtures may cause an allergic skin reaction. In the event of skin or eye contact, rinse thoroughly with water. If skin irritation occurs seek medical advice/ attention.
